I often look round my rather empty, spacious executive detached house and think I ought to have the kitchen remodelled and maybe do something about the small bathroom. These ideas have been welling up every few months for some time. Usually when I have family over and realise what a daft design my kitchen is, with the hob sat in the narrowest bit of work top and the ovens in the wall away from hard standing! I struggle every time with oven gloves, hot trays and two left feet. I plan to engage an interior design studio to really look at the space available and to suggest ideas to maximise that and make my ergonomics more effective. The bathroom has a similar problem. No ovens in wall of course, but the space is not used well, the shower could be positioned across the other side and in fact, I could have a row of neat cabinets to house clutter.
