SUTCLIFFE
The Trafalgar Dining Collection
has been designed to create an ambience of elegance and distinction
within the discerning home. It brings with it all the hallmarks of
traditional Sutcliffe craftsmanship, gained in over 100 years
experience of furniture making, with each product manufactured in
its entirety within the large Sutcliffe Furniture factory. Top
quality raw materials are specially selected – hardwood solid
timbers for the door frames, table underframes and dining chairs,
incorporating craftsman-made mortice and tenon jointing and
dovetailing jointing where appropriate. Quality veneers are hand
picked so that the natural beauty of timber can be enjoyed by all.
The Trafalgar Collection is truly ‘collectable’ and with the
excellent choice of accessory pieces, your Trafalgar dining
furniture can become an enviable collection.

WHITE & NEWTON
White & Newton hand-selects the
timbers and veneers for their Renaissance Collection, then
incorporates fine features such as mortice and tenon jointed chairs,
solid door frames and table underframes. Dovetail joints in all
solid timber drawers provide maximum strength whilst gliding
smoothly on quality drawer runners. With each individual item, pride
is taken through each manufacturing process to the final
hand-finishing and hand-sanding, before polishing. The Renaissance
Collection is available in four finishes, Cherry, Cerise, Sienna and
Mahogany.
Elm Grove, quite simply
exquisite, this light, contemporary range of Living, Dining and
Occasional furniture combines modern design with traditional
craftsmanship. Constructed to a high specification using solid Ash
timbers and 'Golden Elm' veneers, a wire wool and wax technique is
then applied by hand to create a smooth velvet finish.
Available in two finishes, Natural and Chestnut.

BEVAN FUNNELL
Bevan Funnell manufacture high
quality English reproduction furniture that is based on original
styles and designs created during the 18th century. At that time,
Thomas Chippendale, George Hepplewhite and Thomas Sheraton were
among the elite of designers who set new and unrivalled standards of
elegance and beauty. The extensive mahogany collection is made up of
pieces which are, in many cases, close copies of originals from that
period. Where this is not possible or appropriate, every effort is
made to create new models that are faithful to the style of the
great masters - so that the same delightful character and proportion
exemplified in their work is retained. In common with all Reprodux
furniture, the mahogany range is made by craftsmen who, combining
modern production technology with traditional skills, accentuate the
fine figuring and warmth of colour in this magnificent timber.

KAREL MINTJENS
Traditional, contemporary and
transitional oak design in dining and bedroom furniture. Karel
Mintjens uses cultivated oak from managed resources. Thanks to world
wide efforts by environmentalists, scientists and the timber
industry you can be sure that oak is tomorrow’s choice as well. The
furniture made by Karel Mintjens is finished in three steps. With a
colour (patinated or not), that gives the furniture a warm look, and
then with a sealer that gives it a nice smooth surface. Then finally
with a varnish, or lacquer, which makes it easy to maintain, simply
remove the dust with a slightly moist cloth. The furniture is built
with the most modern techniques. Oak is a noble wood that shows
class and style. Karel Mintjens uses only top quality oak and
carefully selects the solid doors by colour and grain pattern. Oak
is the most adaptable hard wood and will give years of excellent
use.

OLDE COURT
Whether you're after a formal or
casual dining experience, Olde Court offers a selection of tables
and chairs to suit your needs. With a choice of finish to
enhance the wood and a wide range of chairs and seat covers,
you can match or contrast the dining area to your home. Modern,
traditional, contemporary - they don't believe in stereotypes, so they've
deliberately designed the Manor Oak collection outside of
these constraints. Instead, they've created solid oak furniture that is
eclectic, timeless, useful and functional. It means you
can achieve the look and feel you want with the practicality
you need.

McNally & Finlay
McNally & Finlay
have built a reputation as one of Irelands leading manufacturers
of dining room, living room and bedroom furniture. Most consumers will identify
the company as the manufacturers of fine traditional collections, most notably
Mahogany, Teak and Cherry but styles and trends move and
change and the firm has broadened its appeal. New ranges have sleek lines
and minimalist designs, appealing more to a new generation. Oak, maple,
walnut and beech have all been cast in new collections.

Molloy
For more than a decade Molloy Furniture
has successfully captured the beauty of wood in all it’s furniture,
the next decade and beyond promises more of the same. Based
in Scariff, Co. Clare, Molloy design furniture with your lifestyle in mind,
offering storage solutions and space saving options. Just as the name suggests,
their furniture is made with true care and attention to detail. Only the
finest timber is selected. Joints are dovetailed and wood is hand sanded
to enhance its natural character. Molloy furniture is made to last.
Dovetail
Lifestyle Furniture
All of Dovetail’s ranges are designed to be timeless
and unique. Their ambition is to produce eye-catching and stylish furniture
that complements a modern lifestyle, while retaining traditional production
and craftsmanship values. It’s the small finishes and tucked away
details – the
dovetailed joints and crafted tenon finishes – that make their furniture
unique. So, that accounts for the ‘Dovetail’ and ‘Lifestyle’ aspects
of the company name, but one essential word remains: ‘Furniture’.
Well, that’s simply what they do … and what they do well. The
materials used are oak and teak, both highly prized for their
hardness and durability. Dovetailing and traditional joints are combined
with slow drying wood glues that seep into the fibres of solid wood to create
strong, unbreakable bonds, adding long life to every piece of furniture
they make.
